I was sent a Thirsies Duo AIO in Hoot to test and review.
The Thirsties Duo AIO combine a trim fit with absorbency. The unique tunnel system allows for easier washing, quicker drying, and provides a place to add an insert or doubler for heavy wetters or nighttime use.
Easy to put on and take off, these cloth diapers are a great choice for babysitters. The gentle elastic at the legs and waist help keep messes inside. The soft stay-dry microfleece against baby’s skin is comfortable for your baby.
The Duo All in One Cloth Diapers come in two adjustable sizes to provide a great fit without the expense of multiple sizes: size 1 – (6-18 lbs) Estimated 0-9 months age range and size 2 – (18-40 lbs) Estimated 9-36 months age range. I love that they have two sizes because then you can get a trim fit even when your baby is tiny; I’ve found that a lot of other AIOs are pretty bulky when baby is still small.
Another thing I love about the Thirsties Duo AIO is the tunnel design with openings in the front and back. All of my kids are heavy wetters, even not during naps, and to have the option of adding additional absorbency is fantastic! And the quicker drying is definitely an added bonus!
The inside is made of a soft 100% polyester microfleece and the sewn-in soaker is made of 3 layers of 100% microfiber terry which is super soft against baby’s bum.
The size 2 diaper I received is a perfect fit for Zoe, Charlie and Keeley! I love that it has the trim fit while still being adjustable; I just adjust the snaps to fit our lil peanut Zoe!
But I usually have Charlie be our “tester” since he is the chubbiest of all three kids- he is 22 lbs and while Keeley is 24 lbs, she is a lot skinnier since her 24 lbs are stretched out a bit more than Charlie’s 22 lbs! Plus Charlie is a master of the blowout here in this house. As you can see our Thirsties Duo AIO fits him great!
And the elastic around the legs are gentle, even around Charlie’s “thunder thighs” and how cute is his bum?!
I was really impressed with how well the Thirsties Duo AIO performed. It kept Charlie’s mess contained and there were no leaks! I absolutely LOVE the pattern and the trim fit is not only great for under his clothes but it doesn’t take up too much room in the diaper bag too!

I really love the design of these diapers, I have a few that I can’t wait to try out on new baby coming in January.
I’ve found Thanks Mama to be an awesome company. Very responsive customer service. If I bought this diaper I’d definitely buy it from them.
I LOVE Thirsties diapers. I’d choose Scottish Storm.

I am in love with Thirsties prints. I am definitely going to be getting some, but I think I am going with the covers. The all-in-ones seem great from your review, but we definitely need a variety, and since I am already using BG AIOs I am just going to stick with Thirsties covers. But great review and great diaper!
I would love to win one of these. I am building my stash for baby #2 due in February and I think some size 1 thristies would be a great addition to my stash!!!
I want to try this – I haven’t used the io yet.

I have an AIO and I like it also, but I do prefer the pockets.
I love the signature tunnel! Great for increasing absorbancy and quicker drying
I love these!!! And the print is awesome!
these are my favs for my twins daytime diaper!!!
I love how cute their patterns are! I’ve been wanting a Thirsties for so long now!
I have a few Thirsties covers and I’m excited to get and try their AIO!
I cannot wait to try out the AIO when baby is due in Jan. thanks for the in depth review!
I have one of these ready to go in size 1 for my new baby’s newborn stash. Can’t wait to try it out in December:)
I’ve heard great things about the Duo AIO. It’s definitely on my “try it” list.

We’d be in the 2nd size, and I really like that there isn’t a need for a 3rd – the current diapers we are in, we may have to bite the bullet and go from their 2nd to 3rd size before we are fully potty trained.

I just got some of these – love ‘em!
We have Thirsties hemp inserts for nighttime and I couldn’t live without them.
I can’t wait to try the thirsties diap, I have heard great things about it.
Love my Thirsties Duo Pocket an would love to try out this AIO as well. Thirsties are made in the USA and have such cute prints!
I’d love to try this diaper! I have the Duo Diaper and the Duo Wrap, both in Size 1. It won’t be long before my baby out-grows the Size 1 and when he does, I’d love to get the Duo AIO in Size 2. I love the 2-size system. The fit is so much better than with one-size diapers. I also love that these diapers are a really good price!
AIOs are my favorite. I’d love to try this diaper!
I have a Thirsties wrap and I have been wanting an AIO!
I have found that the tunnel gets stinky because it doesn’t get thoroughly dried. I washed with 1/4 cup vinegar added to the load and the smell was gone. I like this diaper quite well and it is a great price!
thanks for the tip Leslie! Most of our stash is pretty stinky right now and I didn’t know what to do. I will try this tomorrow!
I’d love to try this diaper. The whole Duo concept looks like a really good one. I’m about to switch my baby girl over to cloth and I have a couple of wraps but my hubby gets very interested when I mention AIOs. Hope I win one.
I hope to try one of these diapers soon. I have heard great reviews on them and no one says that they don’t like them.
I have this exact print in size 1 & size 2 because I loved it that much and had to have matching ones for my son & daughter
They fit great and are too cute!
I bought a full stash of these AIOs and I have to say I’m not as happy with them as I thought I would be. I didn’t think my son was that much of a heavy wetter but I can’t get him to stop peeing out the top even with extra inserts. I’m hoping we just needs more time to grow into them since I spent a lot of money of these. The concept seems great and they’ll be great for daycare so I’ll give it a little more time before I give up on them.
Jennifer, I am sorry to hear that these are not working so well for you guys. You said he is peeing out the top? My kids are all heavy wetters too so I know I change their diapers more frequently than probably most. I still have some wet pants here and there, but have found that my AIOs are more effective for my kids than pockets. I hope they start working better for you
These look amazing. The only thirsties I have is a duo wrap but would love to gine these a try
Your baby has the most adorable chubby thighs! These look like a great fit. I think I am going to buy a dozen of these for the new baby. They look like a really good value for a diaper that fits such a wide range of sizes.
I’m a big Thirsties fan! I only have Duo Wraps and Duo Hemp Prefolds…but they work great. The AIO looks like such a good fit on your guy. I think now I’ll finally get one…as soon as hubby forgets about all the diapers I just bought!

I’d love to try one of these out and compare it to the Bumgenius elemental I have. I noticed that the Thirsties is a bit less expensive so it would be a nice alternative. I was just given some Thirsties covers and I’m pleased so far.
I love the duo fab fitted, so I’d be very curious to try these as well.
I think because of the ease, it would be a great traveling and church diaper. I really like Thirsties’ sizing system!

I lover the cute prints
i really like my thirsties duo too very daddy friendly!
I like the idea of the tunnel for quicker drying. We have a Thristies cover in the same print and I love it. It is a great fit for our growing boy.
LOVE the tunnel design. I haven’t tried that type yet but I really want to! I also like that print. Its gender neutral. I’m not into super girly for my daughter.
A big part of my stash is made up of these diapers. They’re great for when I’m out and about, too! They do take a while to dry but I always turn them inside out and it helps.
Owl Print! I need this!
I’m sure Charlie will love knowing he was the “master of the blowout” when he gets older
I love my Thirsties wraps, would love to try more of their products!
Thanks for the great review! I would love to try this!
I received a Thirsties AIO from a mystery fluff package last month and they have quickly become one of my favorite diapers to use when out and about. They are so trim in comparison to other AIOs (and even pockets). This was also my first aplix diaper, and the first diaper I could get Grandma and Grandpa to change. (Which is a HUGE plus in my book!)
Love the owl print!
I’ve been curious about trying these as a newborn diaper in size 1. $15 is a good price for an AIO!
Your little model/tester is so cute. Thirsties Duo AIOs are my absolute favorite diaper for Daddy and the church nursery, they even fit great in the newborn stage!
This is our favorite diaper! So easy to take on/off and dries quickly. I stuff this diaper for nightime and it works great!
This was a great review, thanks for the detailed pictures – very helpful for a momma to be just learning her way around cloth diapers!
I quite like these. Nothing stands out about them, but they’re always solidly there.
I ope to try these one day Ive heard nothing ,but good about them.
Love Thirsties covers but have never tried an AIO, would be very excited to try one of these as well!
These look like ones I would be willing to try. I am always trying to find a way to fix the leaks from my son since he is a heavy wetter.
I love our Duo AIO. I flip it inside out to dry and it dries pretty quickly on the line. I just wish Thirsties would add in their awesome hemp to its design.
I have ONE of these diapers with the aplix and it is our all time favorite diaper!! I turn the diaper “inside out” before popping it into the dryer and it dries completely
I wish my whole stash were these!
I can’t try this diaper until DD reaches size 2 since she is on the tail end of size 1, but I think I’ll give it a shot. I trust thirsties to make a quality diaper (I have a couple covers given to me by a friend), so I’m thankful for your review to corroborate.
These do look really nice! I’m not a huge fan of AIO, but I like that you can add more to it with a pocket opening.
I love all the cute prints. The owl one is great! I love their 2 new prints too!
My Thirsties wipes are so soft andabsorbent, I’d really like to see if their dipes are too!
I love Thirsties products and while I usually prefer pockets, I love their AIO. I would love to have Scottish Storm.
I have been a long time Thirsties fan, but have yet to try the all-in-one. I am sure it is as amazing as the rest of their products
These are our go to overnights stuffed with a hemp prefold! I love the owl print.
Thirsties are a great diaper! I especially love the trim fit and the adorable pattern! I also love that I can stuff with my choice of inserts!
