I can’t believe how quickly the twins’ first year went by. Since this was going to be my last ever “1st Birthday” party and it was going to be a double whammy, I knew that I wanted it to be extra special. With having boy/girl twins, I was having a hard time finding a theme that would work for both, but still being super cute. Luckily for me, I checked out Birthday Express and found the Dr. Seuss 1st Birthday party supplies.

I have always called Charlie and Zoe “Thing 1 & Thing 2″ so the Dr. Seuss theme was PERFECT!

I received the  Dr. Seuss 1st Birthday Classic Party Pack for 8 which included: 8 invitations, dinner plates, dessert plates, cups, forks, spoons, 16 napkins, table cover, and cake candles.

Everything in the party pack was so adorable and had pretty much everything we needed. Here are some picks of the main items up close:

We had a lot of people coming to their party, so I got some extra items from Birthday Express to complete the look. And I  had a girlfriend who did this theme for her son’s first birthday a couple of years ago and she still had some decorations for me to use. I also made Thing 1 & Thing 2 onesies for them to wear on their big day.

It was so fun getting the house ready for their party!

Another friend of mine always makes these gorgeous, really cool cakes for her son on his birthdays so I asked her if she would make the twins’ cake. Didn’t it turn out adorable?!!

We had friends and family come to help us celebrate Charlie and Zoe’s big day! I received so many compliments on how great the house looked and how I’m “super mom” to get all this pulled off. Just for a second, I thought of taking credit…..but then I fessed up and told them that everything looked so great because of Birthday Express and some very creative and talented friends!

And yes, Thing 1 & Thing 2 had a blast at their Dr. Seuss Birthday Party!!
