The kids and I started decorating the house for Fall and Halloween this past weekend. We’ve got pumpkins, and ghosts and neon green spiderwebs! While unpacking our Halloween bin I came across 3 Halloween cookie cutters (ghost, pumpkin, and cat) and I just knew that we needed to make some Halloween Rice Krispie Treats!

We always have Rice Krispies and marshmallows on hand, so Keeley and I set out to make some fun treats for when Landon got home from school.

After mixing the marshmallows and Rice Krispies Keeley enjoyed what comes second only to eating a finished Rice Krispies treat…licking the spoon!

Using our Halloween cookie cutters we cut out our Halloween shapes.

And finally we decorated our Halloween Rice Krispies treats with frosting and candies.

No tricks in this house, just treats! We all enjoyed a Hallowee Rice Krispies treat after dinner last night. And this morning I noticed that Daddy took an extra one late at night; looks like he gets a trick next time!
