Being home with the kids I worry that sometimes they may not have as much of an advantage scholastically as children who are in daycare. I try to work with Keeley but I feel like I don’t know if I am teaching her the right way, or even the right things. And then I found Teach My and knew that I would have the proper tools to teach Keeely what she should be working on for her age.
Teach My has three main categories that have age-appropriate learning tools: Baby (6-18 months), Toddler (18-36 months), and Preschooler (3+). Even though all of my kids could benefit from Teach My, I chose to get the Teach My Toddler because I could use it with Keeley now and again once the twins are toddlers.
With its many awards and all-in-one learning kit for toddlers 18-36 months, Teach My Toddler is a win-win for you and your child . Divided into four parts: The Alphabet, Numbers, Shapes and Colors, this kit is designed with you and your toddler in mind. No batteries or DVDs required, this kit has an vast assortment of everything necessary for teaching toddlers teach numbers, teach the alphabet and all of the basics. You can play with puzzles, board books, posters and sets of flashcard, with its storage container; which is also portable. This will allow you to take it on the go!
Teach My Toddler was Awarded Best Bet by The Canadian Toy Testing Council and Product of the Year by iParenting Media Awards. Teach My Baby is a favorite gift for toddlers! Teach My Toddler encourages matching, which is a key pre-reading skill. Give your toddler a head start not to mention the quality time you will spend with him or her.
Everything you need is inside the Teach My container and I love how organized it is!
Each category has a poster, a books, flashcards (with their own Teach My band), and at least one foam puzzle.
Keeley and I usually try to take about 20 minutes or so when the twins are napping to work on her “school”. She loves that she is a big girl who has “school” just like Landon (who is in kindergarten this year). Right now she likes working on her colors best (I think because she knows them better than her shapes, numbers, or letters). It’s probably my favorite too because there just isn’t anything cuter than hearing her say “purple”! And I always save the puzzles for last because it definitely is her favorite!
Not only do I feel like I am giving Keeley the best advantage possible for when she starts school, I am absolutely loving the special one-on-one time I get to spend with her! And because of the incredible quality of the Teach My products, in addition to the the great carrying case, I know that I will be able to utilize our Teach My Toddler set when Charlie and Zoe become toddlers!

I have never heard of this before! I really struggle with the decision to put my child in preschool or not, but I always resort back to not. I worry about the same things; It seems that daycare kids are more accustomed to the academic side of school when they start. This looks like a really happy medium.
My boys would love this! I am definitely keeping it in mind for Christmas!

When my mom was home with me she would do “school” with me too. This might be a good Christmas present for my daughter that her babysitters can do with her.
Good for you for investing so much in your daughter! I used to work with pre-schoolers and you’d be surprised how many of them didn’t even know the alphabet or even their numbers! You’re giving your daughter a head start!
