The bumGenius Elemental diaper really has everything that anyone could wish for in a cloth diaper-or a regular diaper for that matter. Here are a few of the highlights:

The organic cotton inside is incredibly soft and gentle against baby’s bum. I love how the you can fold up the insert to have extra absorbency where you need it the most.
And another thing I love about the bumGenius Elemental is that because the insert has layers that are sewn only at the top on bottom it dries much quicker than other AIOs that I’ve used.
Since Charlie is the “chunkiest” of all 3 of our kids in cloth, and he typically has the biggest messes, I thought I would test run the bumGenius Elemental on him.
I love that the tabs are stretchy so I was able to get a great fit on him. And the elastic on the legs really are gentle; there were no red marks, even on Charlie’s chubby legs.
I have to say that the bumGenius Elemental cloth diaper we got from Sweetbottoms has easily become a favorite! TJ didn’t realize that I changed Charlie into his Elemental before he had lunch and put him down for his nap. Charlie slept for 2.5 hours and when he got up he had a very full diaper, but it all was contained and no wetness leaked through! That truly is saying a lot for this “little” guy!

I just got 2 of these during their seconds sale. They both look flawless to me… mirror and dazzle are soooo pretty. Plus they stay soft even when you line dry, which is rare among natural fiber diapers. I love them! They’re great “daddy diapers” too since they’re so easy to use. PS I love your chunky baby!!!!
How nice that the insert layers are only sewed in at the ends! We do pockets for time-savings in drying, but this would be great!
We have the BG 4.0 and really, really like it. We’d love to try the Elemental too.

First of all, that is one CUTE baby! Second, I’ve never tried this diaper before, but I like knowing that the elastic on the legs is gentle. I really don’t like it when diapers leave red marks on my son’s legs!
I’m sold when you say organic! I really don’t want anything else on my son so it means a lot to me that BumGenius thinks it’s important too.
I love their 4.0 Pocket diapers, but have yet to try an Elemental.

I absolutely LOVE sweetbottoms baby boutique! They are so wonderful and helpful. I got a freetime AIO and after reading this review I may consider switching to the organic. They seem a lot better and even sturdier too!

I have heard a lot about the bumgenius diapers. I use the flips and love them so I can’t believe the rest of the brand wouldn’t be awesome.

I love the bumgenius elemental! It is very absorbant and fits my daughter well. It is really soft and doesn’t take too long to dry.
these are truly my favorite dipes. They do not leak and they are more trim than many others. Long dry time does not bother me at all. its easier to deal with than leaks. hands down.
When I owned 1 of these, they were definitely my diaper bag diapers because I could just toss them in the bag without worrying about stuffing anything (which is a plus)!
I have one of these and it works great at night for my 5 month old. I hadn’t tried AIOs before I got it and I like the loose inserts. It takes longer to dry then my pockets but I would imagine it would be much worse if it was a traditional AIO.

This is another diaper that looks like it would work well on my son. We have the same problem with him that you do with Charlie.
I have loved Bum Genius since the 1.0s came out years ago, but I have never tried one of these. I think I might have to before my little one PLs. Your pictures make them look so trim!

I LOVE my BGE’s my daughter is sensitive to the suede cloth on most MF inserts but these she has no issues and better yet NO LEAKS! I love the colors and the fit too!

I’ve purchased diapers from Sweetbottoms before and they were awesome! I have an insert we use at night that is sewn similarly to this insert, so I just might have to give it a try!

These are the only BG diapers I haven’t tried. The cost, initially, kept me away. However, I have become a major fan of a few WAHM brands so spending a few extra bucks is no longer a big thing. I will say though, that BGs are still my favorite commercial diaper brand. Love the stretchy tabs and I never have leaks. I have moved on from pockets and am starting to really get into AIOs and fitteds so this is on my to try list. Love the fact that they are natural fiber as well!

I’ve found that the bumGenius Elemental is one of the most absorbant diapers available. I like to put it on baby when we go out to run errands because we’ve NEVER had a leak in it!
I really love all of my BG diapers. I just recently got a Elemental and i love it, it is very soft and very absorbant, i love my freetimes more though.

I just got one of these, but haven’t tried it on my DD yet. Thanks for the review! BG pockets are most of my stash, so I am interested to try the AIO, with no stuffing, but a shorter dry time (why I didn’t pick AIO to begin with!)
I use to have one of these diapers. I really liked that it had natural fibers, but as my child grew, it was not absorbent enough. I guess I could of added more to it though

Love the design! I originally was a fan of the all-in-ones because they are so easy to use, but was quite impatient when it came to dry them. This diaper looks perfect!
I really love bumgenius! I love how user friendly they are. It’s a great diaper for when grandma/grandpa or daddy are on duty. Not that they can’t handle more complicated dipes, but its just so user friendly and trustworthy that it makes it easier on the less experienced cloth diaperers.
